For their Smiles, today and Tomorrow.

The Sudarshan Sanchari Foundation is dedicated to transforming education for rural children in Karnataka, with a focus on sustainability, transparency, and community impact.

We invite donors, volunteers, and supporters to join us in building a future where every child, regardless of economic background, gets the opportunities they deserve.

The Numbers Tell a Harsh Truth.

Millions of children in rural India face obstacles that should never stand between a child and their future. Nearly one in five drops out before finishing Class 5, not because of a lack of will to learn, but because schools are too far, teachers are too few, and classrooms are missing the most basic facilities. In too many villages, the simple act of attending school means walking miles on dusty roads, only to find a crumbling building without clean water or proper toilets.

Behind these statistics are futures being cut short. Studies show that more than 50% of rural schools lack essential infrastructure, and millions of children are left to struggle without books, digital access, or trained teachers. Each number represents a child losing the chance to dream bigger, to build a different life, and to break the cycle of poverty. The truth is harsh, but it’s also clear: unless we act, this crisis will define the futures of an entire generation.

OUR PROJECTS

Cycle Bank Project

Our unique Cycle Bank guarantees every student a high-quality bicycle for daily commute, which is returned and refurbished for future generations, reducing dropout rates and absenteeism.

School Building Project

Building a modern, sustainable school infrastructure with smart classrooms, library, and proper facilities to provide quality education and create a model for rural transformation in Karnataka.

Educational Essentials

Providing school bags, notebooks, and essential learning materials to remove immediate barriers to education and support students from farming and daily wage families.

Why I Started This Journey

I grew up in a modest farming family in rural Karnataka. After completing 10th standard, I moved to Davangere for higher studies, but financial pressure forced me to start working at 17—first in catering, then night security, SIM-card sales, and Aadhaar enrolment. Those years taught me a simple truth: talent is everywhere, opportunity is not.

Fast-forward to 2022. With some savings from my YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook work, I returned to my old high school and donated Wildcraft schoolbags. That visit changed everything. My former teacher shared that the school building was crumbling and classes were often held under leaking roofs. I promised myself I would help rebuild it.

To raise funds, I cycled from Bengaluru to Singapore and partnered with Milaap. When automatic platform deductions reduced each donation, I realised we needed a direct, transparent channel where every rupee reached the students. In August 2024, I registered Sudarshan Sanchari Foundation (Trust Act Reg. No. 00099/2024-25) with one clear mission: make quality education accessible in rural India.

Our real goal

The mission is depth over breadth: instead of handing one notebook to 10,000 students, focus on a small group of children in critical need and take full responsibility for their educational journey. That means identifying students who can’t even reach school or afford basics, then providing complete support—transport access, essentials, and a strong learning environment—so they attend daily, progress confidently, and secure admissions to good colleges. Starting now at the high‑school level while rebuilding the school infrastructure, the next step is to begin from the foundation—preschool and primary—so quality learning grows across multiple villages, year after year. This approach turns help into outcomes: fewer dropouts, better results, and children who move from survival to success.

Ways to Pitch In

Education is not a privilege—it’s a right. By joining hands with us, you can ensure that rural children don’t just dream of a better future, but actually step into it. Every contribution, big or small, brings books into tiny hands, keeps classrooms open, and sparks hope where it’s needed most.

Donation Options

Your support fuels this mission. Whether it’s a one-time gift, a monthly commitment, or choosing to sponsor a child’s education, every rupee you give directly impacts a classroom. Regular donations help us plan long-term, you’ll see the change your support makes in a child’s life.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities: Teach 8th–10th students in Physical Education, Mathematics, Social Science, and English, or join our content team to document ongoing projects through photography, videography, writing, and design. Whether leading a class or capturing stories, every hour shared strengthens rural education and turns effort into impact.

Corporate Partnerships

Businesses can become powerful partners in change. By funding digital classrooms, donating supplies, or engaging employees in volunteering drives, your company can create a lasting impact that goes beyond profit. Together, we can scale solutions and reach children who need it most.

No effort is too small when the goal is this big. Choose the way you’d like to help and stand with us in building a future where no child is left behind.

Hi, I'm Yathish Ponnappa from Coorg. I've been a fan of Sudarshan Sanchari for a while now. Although touring Karnataka for 5-10 days was an exciting experience for me a few years ago, I understand it's not easy to document and share online. I'm really proud of Sudarshan for his dedication and commitment to his cause over the years. I'd love to support him in any way I can, particularly with video editing using the resources I have. I wish him and his team all the best and hope their dreams become a reality.

I saw how passionate Sudharshan was in building this school for the kids. Many only talk about how they want to do something good for the society but don't have a clue on where to start. His motivation to travel, learning culture, meeting new people and explaining his passion is truly amazing. Plus, we are in a country where education isn't equal to everyone where bigger cities have nicer schools and government schools are not funded properly. They spend crores on giving free public transport not because they want to promote people to use public transport but to promote their political gains. We are in the country where people donate a lot of things but basic education is expensive.

My parents work as daily wage laborers in the farm fields, so getting to school on time every day used to be a real struggle. But now that I have this cycle, I'm so happy because I can get to class without fail and not miss any of my lessons. It's made a big difference for me, and I can focus better on my studies knowing I won't fall behind
